About Me
I am a Strategic Communications graduate from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities through the Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication. During my time at the University, I have gained extensive experience with creating integrated marketing campaigns. I used my skills of creative strategy, professional writing, photography, videography, and social media marketing to collaborate on these IMCs. My supplementary photography and cinematography courses have given me an insight into visual communication and how to properly execute and produce valuable images.
Aside from my educational background, I also completed a Multimedia Internship at the Wake Magazine. There, I collaborate with a team to create graphics, playlists, social media posts, and infographic advertisements for events and merchandise. I have also gained experience in magazine production through my Magazine Editing course at the U, and have worked closely with my peers to create content that is relevant for various platforms.
These experiences have allowed my creativity to flourish and I have truly fallen into a groove with these projects. I love the creative side of the business and enjoy strategizing around the ideas my team and I come up with. I have experience with market research, audience analysis, and content planning. These roles give me the opportunity to fuse the creative and strategic processes together, which is my ultimate passion in this industry.
Outside of my studies, I love to cook and spend a lot of my free time experimenting with new recipes and techniques. I enjoy health and fitness, and I love hiking and exploring nature. Music is also a large part of my life and I am always creating playlists, indulging in old favorites, and searching for fresh, new artists to listen to. When I'm not doing any of these things, I can be found reading or watching moves -- I take both my Letterboxd and Goodreads accounts very seriously.
Overall, I have a multitude of skills, interests, and experiences, and I am excited to bring them into my future endeavors!
